The Pine Tree Valley Bit

This morning was very civilised at work, and I managed to get away on time in the early afternoon. On the way home I took a route through the country lanes – it feels like a while since I've shot the landscape. The conditions were great, with cloudy interest in the sky and bright but even light across the frame. At this time of year in Kent, finding a scene that is not covered in yellow flowers is the real trick!

This image is taken along Singledge Lane, a regular haunt for me as it is the route we use for our daily walks to get the steps in. It's a place I've come to know like the back of my hand, and 'the pine tree valley bit' is just the nickname I use for this section of the lane.
