Foraging
We had a lovely day at our local pub/restaurant, the Sir Charles Napier, foraging for our lunch. 8 of us and our expert guide explored the local meadows and woodlands, mainly finding Wild Garlic and a variety of flowers and herbs.
The chef gave us a cookery demonstration of how to use what we had collected and then served a delicious lunch of wild garlic soup, local lamb with herbs and Yorkshire asparagus, and broom flower panna cotta with Welsh wild strawberry sorbet.
What a lovely way to spend a day, it felt like a detox!
