Surprise!
An aphid on the tulip. I didn't realise he was there at first.
Made two lemon cheesecakes with berry sauce last night - one regular and one vegan plus gluten free! Was slightly more work than I anticipated.
One thing I did get right was that the regular would taste better. For whatever reason the fake cream cheese was a little salty, and the oaty base was far too thick and dense. Ah well, with some tweaks it could work I think.
They were both well received anyway - were doing our own Bake-Off for charity at work. One bake per week and last week's inaugural one was outstanding so there is did competition this year!
