Lido Day 2013

Lido Day! This now annual event is where we try to swim in as many lidos as possible in one day. We visited four this year; Park Road, Brockwell, Hampton and Richmond, and swam 1.6 miles. We had planned on swimming in five pools, but got quite behind schedule as we spent a long time in Brockwell ticking a couple of events off for the Olympic Challenge. Somehow, we manage to pick grey, overcast days...this year was a slight improvement with minimal rain, but it would be nice to have a sunny day next year! We had loads of fun, and an excellent breakfast and lunch to sustain us. The only downside is dragging the increasingly heavy bags full of wet towels around. Next year we need a driver!
