A sparkling fire

There were parts from fir in the fire so sparks were flying. Fortunately this cottage has a large fire place and the sparks landed a couple centimeters from the edge.
Our cottage has a smaller fire place so now fir wood there! But, this cottage is much older. If I don't remember it wrongly it was built 1864 and it's still furnished like old times. It's such a beautiful old cottage and we always have our larger gatherings outside it and move inside when the Mozzies and gnats gets to much to handle. There's so much history in this cottage. I'll blip it next time we go up there. :)
