Can't beat a bit of bribery......
An early start again today. Fed some cattle then headed off to the airport to drop Littlemiss and Mrs F off for a flight to Bristol. They are away to check out the Uni as Littlemiss has had an offer from them.
Back home after rush hour traffic on the city bypass. Bugger commuting to work every day !
Finished off feeding then bagged up feed etc. Left Kev on bedding sheds and headed off to SRUC to get them to fill in my IACS form. This is an annual task where you have to tell the powers that be what area and crop you have in every field on the farm. Did not too bad, 102 fields done by 3pm.
The standing joke continues, as a few years ago the then secretary Sandra, and advisor Craig got a plate of gold biscuits out with my coffee ,for gold subscribers only. Then another year it was a pyramid built out of Tunnock's caramel wafers. This year it was these two fancy donuts. Hopefully the tradition will continue for a year or two yet !
Back home and managed to get the fert spread on the last barley field, avoiding the few wet spots.
Then headed off up the bypass again to get Mrs F off her 9.15pm flight. Littlemiss has stayed down there to go for a night out with her pals. Oh to be young again......
