Blue
Today's challenge was "blue", so why not a picture of our cleaner wrasse? It has a brilliant blue tail!
In the ocean (but also in our aquarium) the cleaner wrasse performs a very important service, as it sets up a cleaning station where it removes parasites and dead skin from other fishes. These parasites are their primary food source.
Cleaner wrasses will clean all kinds of fish from small fish, to Moray Eels, Manta Rays, Groupers and even sharks. Their role in nature gives them some immunity from predators that would normally swallow similarly sized fish whole.
Edit: when commenting I noticed that it is my blip birthday today! I have been out of the running for a while, so I had no idea! :) Yay, for 730 blips!
