Guatemala

We left Honduras at 7am to get across the border to Guatemala before the queues at immigration built up.

We were heading for Antigua which meant we had to drive right through Guatemala City. The traffic was awful and the three lanes didn’t help much. We were ‘rewarded’ with a very nice lunch in Posada de Don Rodrigo when we arrived. It’s a family owned hotel / restaurant in a gorgeous colonial house with equally gorgeous garden.

Having got our mojo back we were up for an orientation walk around this colonial city.
