Lights

A stop-off on the final stage of our homeward journey, firstly to visit T. E Lawrence's cottage at Cloud's Hill, followed by a visit to Moreton Church where, to quote the website, 'The inside is flooded with light from the large windows. Following bomb damage in 1940, all the replacement windows have outstanding engraved glass by the artist Sir Laurence Whistler which were installed over 40 years from 1955 onwards' and where 'TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) is buried in the separate cemetery down the lane'.
