Virgin Mary Newly Adorned, The Friars, Aylesford

I've photographed this statue of the Virgin Mary a few times over the years but never seen it adorned in the way it was today. I also noticed, for the first time, she's slowly going ever so slightly green at the gills! I think it's all the rain we've had this winter that's created a thin coating of mould in places on it's surface.
