Priory Mill

Running through Swaffham Prior today heading towards Devils Dyke… spotted this mill undergoing some maintenance so thought it would make a good picture… it was open off the footpath, didn’t realise it’s a full-time functioning private mill!

Luckily the owner was very friendly and let me take a picture - he even explained he’d been there 26 years milling a variety of rare grains from all over the country producing specialist flours. Who knew!
