At the library

Part of a current exhibition. 14 and 15 year olds from a school were assigned to make a monument portraying (the lack of) freedom and do a writeup. There were 10 pieces with the writeup next to it. With varying subjects. Like women being allowed to vote, animal welfare, the treatment of uyghurs and the path to freedom between two posts decorated with the colours of the Dutch flag. 

Very impressive. The writeup was good too.

This a yearly assignment for that age group always resulting in an exhibition at the library.
