Motherwell

A busy and long day, including the difficult middle bit in Motherwell and the occasional sweary word in the afternoon.

The allotment, however, made everything better. Dug up some 'Orla' spuds, we picked some sugar snaps and I've had a bowl of strawberries. Now, I'm happy to admit, I feel quite smug.

These are just thinning carrots, but they're tasty. I couldn't remember if you are supposed to thin carrots in the evening or you're not.
