Puffed Out

Phew! The trip today went well in the end, although we didn't have the steam train. It was replaced by a diesel engine and the children were excited by the experience, in particular the tunnel and the lights going out.
The sun came out for the afternoon at Ferry Meadows so we were able to enjoy picnics on the grass, adventure playgrounds and freedom and space away from school. I'm exhausted now though!
