Pity berets aren't for me

On the spot decision to go to Bridport. Not been for years. Sunny start (but as forecast, went downhill quickly). Car badly needed a run too. Best to go before the tourist season kicks off.

1h20m drive. Parked by the shops. Walked up and down the 2 high streets. Searched for a good coffee and snack, rewarded when we found 'Soulshine'. Had a split-pea hummus, with caramelised onions, Zatar and 'Turkish Chilli'. Served with fat slices of excellent sourdough. Mr B, as always, showed restrain and just had a flat-white.

Several quirky independents. Was particularly taken by this old-fashioned hat shop

Easy drive back.
