Ramsons

It’s been a funny old day weather wise. It started out with a nice bit of sun, deteriorated badly into cold wind and rain, then dried up a bit this afternoon to end the day with some glorious sunshine again. 
The woods on-site are full of wild garlic, or ramsons and look stunning in the sunshine especially. There are patches of bluebells around but nothing like the pure sea of whiteness all around. The smell is amazing too…if you like that sort of thing…and I do :) 

This evening all 16 of us met for our traditional group meal and had a thoroughly lovely time. Last full day tomorrow with just time to fit in a tad more birding. It’s a while since I posted one - ha ha!
