Castle from Causeway

Continue to be thrilled with the height of the water in the Lake - this is the causeway on the Lula walk - just look at the water on the lefthand side - often no water there at all - tonight there were ducks swimming there, and a heron and a stork fishing at the edge.

The round blob inbetween and below the two sets of towers on the castle is our water tank. And the log on right has been washed down from where the tree fell much further up.

Gratefuls:
- Duarte driving our car back here after servicing it because no transport from here as it's a public holiday commemorating the Carnation Revolution fifty years ago today - there were fireworks for fifteen minutes at midnight, in red and green, Portuguese colours
- Mike getting lots more strimming done; we have to have fifty metres clear around both buildings by the end of the month as a fire precaution
- finishing my Coaching course today, just a taster, really, but should help me have better conversations with folk I care for
