Drooth

Rosie has taken a liking to drinking from the bird bath despite having fresh, clean water in her own wee bowl. She must like the flavour!! The title of this blip is an old Scots word meaning 'thirst' and co-incidentally I used the word this morning. EP hadn't heard me use it before and wasn't sure of it's meaning. I love old words as they seem so descriptive & sometimes provide just the right meaning for the situation.
