Pretty Little Flower
I took the boys up that magical mount today that is Traprain Law. I'd taken a flask of hot chocolate that we enjoyed whilst sheltering from the wind in the circular cairn at the summit. We only saw one of the Exmoor ponies that now live on the Law; the others must have been hiding. I like to think I could spend time learning all about the Votadini, who lived here for a number of centuries - friends of the Romans - before moving to what is now the site of Edinburgh Castle. I could have sworn I saw a peregrine falcon swooshing off beyond the quarry.
On the way back to where the car was parked my eye was caught by these little flowers. They really are very tiny, and very pretty.
