A spot of sunshine

What a day yesterday was.  J and l were up and out early.  We travelled out of the Dales and west thinking that  that direction would be better weather - and we were right.   The sun shone and there was little rain, the wind however was not so kind.  We visited Leighton Moss bird sanctuary and then went over to the pretty  village of Arnside for a late lunch.
We were surprised to read that there had been a dusting of snow in our village but none when we got back.
