Window

We visited Blackfriars Restaurant in Newcastle - a former Dominican Friary dating back to the 13th century.  Earlier this week it was my birthday so Mr YB treat me to lunch.  Very nice - smoked salmon to start with, followed by cod and ending with a delicious creme brulee with ginger shortbread.  During the meal there was a terrible hailstorm.  Luckily by the time we left the sun was shining but it was still very cold.  However, there has been snow on my birthday before so at least it wasn't that bad.
