Who'd a thunk it?
TWICE? ( :¬o)
We, as usual, found our (3) selves at one of the two local(ish) garden centres. I called the top item to Jerra's attention and we were unusually, both, in agreement that we'd never have recognised it as a Rhododendron. Which we'd not have done without the label.
Just before we left, I spotted the pink/red/cerise one. The weird thing? The white was labelled Rhododendron and the red claiming to be an Azalia.
I can never remember; I suppose, T B H, I may never have tried - BUT - Jerra keeps telling me that it's all down to the number of Stamens in each flower. It seems to me "they" may have their work cut out merely to identify one single flower to count Stamens.
Ignore the left-hand white in the thumbnail; it's the exception NOT the rule.
