Slightly creepy

Nearly every shop has a display of children’s toys which must be difficult for parents to avoid being pressured to buy but I do find the displays of dolls a little creepy.

A warmer day than yesterday but still not lying in the sun warm enough so after breakfast Susan and I took a walk into Palmanova. We saw a yacht beached on the sands. The wet windy weather yesterday must have caused it to slip its mooring. Didn’t manage to take a photo of it though.

Susan and I stoped ant a beach bar for a glass of lovely cold water and waited for the others to join us. We wandered out to find some lunch in another wee bar recommended by my brother and had a walk along the promenade and a nosy in the shops. We decided to buy a pack of cards and were relieved to find some with a nap of the island in the back rather than the rather risqué scantily clad pack we were first offered.

We sat on the outside terrace when we got back from our wander in a wee sun trap but didn’t play cards in the end.
Dinner was a fabulous steak and baked potato in a typical Spanish restaurant before we called it a night just after 10.
