Wherever you may Rome ...

Unfortunately its not Rome, its a little street in Liverpool.

A few years ago we had a wonderful holiday in Rome staying in a converted mediaeval monastery. Even though the architecture is all wrong this scene always feels like a beautiful italian back street to me, the kind of place where you come across a great little restaurant.

We also had fantastic ice cream & strawberries in Rome and now that ours are ripe we finished dinner tonight with gorgeous strawberry ice cream sundaes.
