Tree Hugger

I wish I'd had this photo for Monday's Earth Day celebration.  Being called a "tree hugger" was a disparaging remark 50 years ago but now people are slowly becoming aware of the dangers to the climate.  Ruby is not doing a full "sploot", it wasn't that warm.  She is just taking a wee nap in the sunshine.  Or maybe she is praying people will take more care of Mother Nature.  More likely she is praying the bear "incident" yesterday doesn't disrupt service at the Back Porch Cafe.  She will be happy to hear we are open as usual, and John will be here to help with clean-up.  I'm bringing the seed can in at night now.
