Judas tree

The Judas tree (cercis siliquastrum), which is in the front garden of a one of my neighbours, has just come into blossom. I spent many days last year after my knee replacement walking up and down the road to look at it as part of my walking practice. Seeing it bloom again brings back lots of memories. I had expected by now to be walking well but it hasn’t happened and I learnt this week that it probably won’t improve any further. It’s a bit disappointing but I am resolving to focus on the positive of what I can do and not what I can’t. Onwards and upwards as they say!
