Somerset House
A day in London. First exhibition at Sony World Photography - some harrowing images of how people are exploited in man's endless mining and agriculture. There was also a section showing some prints of Sebastião Salgado. Magnificent. Blip of a reflection within the gallery.
A short walk away was the National Portrait Gallery, so I dropped by to see the exhibition of work by Julia Margaret Cameron and Francesca Woodman; they were 100 years apart but produced very similar compositions. Well curated and worth seeing.
