Brightstone Bay
As ever best in Large.
On the way to the camera club meeting with no blip picture in the can, the unprepossessing light of most of the day changed to promising so I made a detour to the coastal path above Brightstone Bay.
This part of the coastline is an area where fossils are constantly found as the cliffs erode into the sea. Many important dinosaur skeletons have been uncovered here and nearby on the beach are giant fossilised footprints and the remains of a petrified forest.
The coastal path stretches along the cliff tops along the whole of the south coast offering walkers far reaching views and bracing sea breezes.
