The long way round

Friday morning I often meet friends for coffee in the village after dropping Matthew at school. I've been going the direct way nearly every week this year, but with a bit of sunshine this morning I took the long way round. It adds about 4km but cuts through this country park, which was looking lovely. So many cowslips out, and all the birds were singing.
