Madeira Day 11: Verada dos Balcoes

When we were planning our trip, we originally planned to spend the last night near the airport, but then when we picked a hotel, we thought it looked quite nice, so ended up booking two nights, to give us one more day to do something in the east of the island. So today was the day to move on to our last short stay. After breakfast, and before checking out, I went up to the infinity pool, to take some pictures, when the light was better, and there weren’t any people around - I've put that collage in extras. On the way to our next hotel, we did a relatively short and easy walk at Verada dos Balcoes, which leads to a wonderful viewpoint shown in my main collage.
There was time for a couple of hours by, and in the pool when we reached the hotel - just a regular pool here, rather than an infinity pool, and it was heated - a bit too warm for me! After dinner at the hotel buffet, we went for a short walk along the promenade running by the hotel.
