Two things on my mind today . . . a missing bird feeder and the tooth that I chipped while eating tea yesterday.

When I looked out of the bedroom window this morning I couldn’t see the suet ball feeder that hangs on the beech hedge. Yesterday it still had three partly nibbled balls in. This morning it had disappeared. I’ve checked the hedge, garden, neighbours garden and adjoining areas. I have to assume that a bird has flown off with it.

It will be be much cheaper to replace than the bill I expect to get from the dentist . . . if I can get an appointment when I phone on Monday.

Today’s walk was along by the river to Waterhead. Although I took photos from the riverside I’ve chosen to blip this more colourful shot from the lakeshore.
