I think this is a Whirlabout Skipper (Polites vibex) best I can tell. He showed up on my zinnias during the 5 minutes of sunlight we had today.

Rain is in the forecast through Saturday so we will see what I can find this holiday weekend! Probably won't be able to go out on the boat.
