The King’s Head

Never really sure why so many English pubs are named after somebody’s head! Sadly many of these pubs are under threat. Many more have actually closed.

Our village still has two. Both seem to be surviving despite their very close proximity to two large supermarkets selling wines and spirits at a fraction of the prices in these bars. Both have beer gardens. When the sun comes out so do the drinkers!
