Ahoy there

Dry morning walk to pick up paper and croissant. Hubby suggested that we walk down to the canal, stop for lunch and then back along the river. The weather and walk was good but no food available other than breakfast pastries and croissants. We decided to have a coffee and the owner insisted we had pastries free as she had already removed from display.
The river was so quiet, hardly any boats and only a couple of,people out walking. The dog on the boat was interested in Hetty and watched her walk past but made no attempt to get off the boat.
Bumped into a guy I worked with and not seen for years, so that was nice.
Ironing done when we got home and then cooked dinner.
Saturday so looking for a film to watch.
