Pendle Hill

The legendary Pendle Hill seen in the afternoon sunlight whilst travelling on the road from Clitheroe to Skipton.   On reaching Gisburn we realised it was Auction Day at the Livestock Mart so decided to have a look around.   (Mr MD always knows how to treat a girl).   There were over a thousand sheep there but my extra shows a pen of Herdwicks waiting quietly for their turn in the ring.   All very well organised and fascinating to see.
