for Lily

today i got a message from Lily

i will be looking after her shells and photographing them for as long as i have them in my custody.

Lily is an outstanding daughter to our neighbour, who gave me these shells.  but i feel they should stay in their family - i'm very happy to look after them and photograph them in the meantime.
