Operation Mincemeat

Read the book. Saw the film. Now seen the play.

Started the day at 7am with a swim in a pretty chilly lake. Happy time.

Met up with Anna and travelled towards Covent Garden, met Chris and wandered slowly over to the Fortune Theatre for a matinee. It was brilliantly done. An energetic, versatile & dynamic cast of 5. A quick, clever, funny script wonderfully delivered and now couldn’t recommend the play highly enough.

Then a bite to eat and a good catch up. I’ve had 2 Saturdays in a row of extreme entertainment. It stops now. I imagine my next 100 Saturdays will be just washing, ironing and polishing non-existent silver candlesticks ;-))
