Tree Swallow or Trout?

I love these mozzie catching birds but every year as I watch the babies poking their heads out of the nesting box I can't help but think that they look like trout...
The local newspaper ran one of my photos today which was fun, the heat wave might be breaking, and tomorrow I'm planning an early morning kayak.
