silent reading party at the Sorrento


(these got a start here at this hotel, i think they said that, the Sorrento is an old one in Seattle, early 1900's - you pay for a chair, and you read, it is totally silent but for a very quiet piano player, for two hours, plus they want you to also buy some food.  there are less expensive places to read silently!  but curiosity lured me - I did enjoy reading in company actually - kind of like yoga class versus solo practice - both special - will i do it again, maybe in the cold wet winter!)
