Chasin' Wild Horses . . . Bruce Springsteen
As you can see these are not wild horses. I learnt there is a lot to do getting them ready to ride out. Where they live it is flat so this trip has been challenging for them and their owners felt they should have done more hill work with them. When they stopped for lunch today the horses all had a sleep. We went for a gentle walk along the valley the Basin Creek flows through. It was sunny and quiet.
Last night was very cold and I had to get up and put a fleece jacket on. I already had a wooly hat and socks on in my sleeping bag. The 1st extra is frost patterns on the inside of the truck window. 2nd extra is the riders setting off and the hut in the background. 3rd extra Merinos for KD and any other lovers of sheep.
