Swaledale sheep

These are found all over the Dales.  They are a very hardy bred and generally do not need to be bought in in a northern winter.

I travelled back down to London yesterday afternoon, the train was incredibly noisy for the first hour with two big parties getting off at York,  all the females were dressed up to the 9s in very little - it was very, very cold and there was acres of bare flesh, not a jacket in sight.  On arriving at King's Cross station there was chaos as the underground was closed for an emergency and everyone was wandering about trying to workout how to get to their destination.  I walked around the corner and caught a bus to the next station further down the line so was not put out too much.
