Soccer Saturday

It was the last match of the season. It ended with a loss but as we were safe and Oxford secured a play off place, everyone was happy. There was a mascot race and the pint won (extra).

My friend lent me this book which I thoroughly enjoyed. I tried out a new pattern for this matching mandala.  It ended up tweaked as I couldn’t get it right. I must have been reading it wrong but as it was just a symbol pattern it was hard to work out where.  I just made up a round to end with the right number of stitches and spaces for the next one so I could carry on. It looked surprisingly ok in the end given it is a fudge.
