A bloom or two
Up early this morning to drive to Garelochhead, to attend the annual Scottish Rhododendron Society Show. It used to be held in various locations across central Scotland, but has settled down in this small town which seems to suit most people. I'd been showing rhododendrons for many years while at Arduaine, but since I retired I've merely been a spectator until this year, when I was asked to join the judging team - there are now three of us. Good fun, lots of disagreement!
My Blip today was taken after judging was finished but before the hoi polloi was let in!
I picked Mrs M up from Garelochhead station and we drove to Glasgow where her brother had invited us to dinner. A good time was had by all but I had to leave my Blip until the next morning!
