For the family

Quirky

Into town on the stroke of 10am to visit the surgery. We parked in Waitrose car park which is across the road, registered for our Covid jab, and were in and out within 7 minutes. A very well organised and speedy process.

We then headed to the Waitrose coffee shop for refreshments. It legitimises parking where we did. I noticed that they had tomato plants and other gardening items that I wasn’t able to get at the garden centre, so purchased those. By the time we got home it was raining heavily so they were dumped in the potting shed for the time being. Roll on some dry, warmer weather, so that I can get on with planting out

This evening we were over to dinner with R & S. Lots  of catching up on the news. It’s B’s birthday on Monday, so he received his card and birthday present. This switch is from a Vulcan bomber, one of the aircraft that he worked on at RAF Scampton in the early ‘70’s when we were first married. S is going to fit it in his study. He will 3D print a suitably sized backing plate. (Boys will be boys)

We got to see the new  3D printer in action, fascinating!!! More about that tomorrow.

By the time we got to bed we were both feeling the effects of the jab in our left arm.
