Tadpoles!
Not a good photo but nevermind.
I hope they survive as up the track it can dry out quickly.
Frank arrived home earlier than I expected at 11am. He walked through the hallway and into the kitchen and gave me a hug then went out to the hallway again. He saw two framed pictures sitting on the stairs.
‘Oh, did the pictures fall off the wall?’ I stood there looking at him then he looked around and upwards looking puzzled.
‘Have you painted the walls?’
I burst out laughing. He loves it and said how bright it all looks now.
Result!
I started reading a book for LBB16 yesterday, (better late than never!) the prompt for this month was a biography or an Autobiography. I chose Paul O’Grady’s - At My Mother’s Knee. I loved Paul as he was such an animal lover and a kind person. I wasn’t sure I’d like the book though but I’ve really got into it and I’m enjoying reading about his boyhood and growing up in Birkenhead.
A lot of it is quite funny and also there is a lot of it about Liverpool where I was brought up.
We were meant to have rain today but it never came and we had some sunny spells and just now it’s lovely and bright out there.
I may go in the garden for a bit before tea.
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Thanks for all the comments, stars, and hearts over the last week ;-) X
