On the way home

I had a lovely visit to the duck pond with Neil. There was a young couple there with their toddler, and we shared our duck food with them. 

Then suddenly in the water was a unicorn-themed wellie boot! It had fallen off the toddlers foot and it drifted away a couple of metres before anyone could reach it.

The father went off to find a stick to hoik it back with - and came back with an enormous rake! It must have been nearly a metre wide; apparently it had just been left lying around on the green. He was able to reach the wellie boot and fish it out without falling in - which wasn't a given!

That was our adventure for the day. I didn't take a photo at the time, so this one is of a beautiful garden we pass on our way home.
