Liverpool sea front blocked out by Princess

To all fellow blippers many many thanks for calling in and leaving comments on my pagesz very surprised at the numbers checking the blips out and very chuffed that they interest others and your support is very much appreciated.

Far too quick for my own good yesterday in up loading my blip of the day - letter to myself after today upload later - todays blip was taken yesterday as I spent a lovely hour on the Mersey Ferry been ages since I've done this and will be a regular in future always something happening in the river and today was no let down with the Caribbean Princess in port although no chance of blipping the cavern walk today with all the cruisers lining up for a photo - always next week.

Caribbean Princess is a Grand Class cruise ship owned and operated by Princess Cruises, with a capacity of over 3,600 passengers, the largest carrying capacity in the Princess fleet up until June 2013 when the new Royal Princess, another Princess ship superseded its record. She has 900 balcony staterooms and a deck of mini-suites. She was the first modern cruise ship with an outdoor theater, which Princess bills as "Movies Under The Stars", although plenty of other have follwed suit P&O Azura being one I can vouch for.

Caribbean Princess is slightly larger than the other ships in her class (Star Princess, Golden Princess, and Grand Princess), due to the addition of an additional deck of cabins called the Riviera deck. Another difference is that, being initially designed to cruise the Caribbean year-round, there is no sliding roof over the pool area for shelter in poor weather not good for a cruise around the UK but by the weekend I'm sure the pool will be heaving if the forecast is anything to go by.
