Ben Chonzie

Doesn’t look much but it was a fair trek along the east side of Loch Turret and straight up the cut in the middle of the photo, then on to the ridge at the left and finally to the summit of Ben Y Hone as it’s known locally. That cut was really hard work and since I have a combination of a sore right knee and limited mobility in my left arm, I really didn’t fancy coming back to the car that way. So that meant coming down by crossing the tops on the west side of Loch Turret and therefore completing the Loch Turret circular, which was about 18km and probably more. Feet will be sore tomorrow!!
