4 'sticks!'

Today I was along the Solway Coast on the B5300 road.  To the right of this photo is an area called Saltpans, a historical site beneath Fortlet 21 which was part of Hadrian's Wall.  There isn't any wall along this coast, but there are Roman forts down to Ravenglass (a Roman port with baths.)  As the name Saltpan suggest salt was made from the sea.  Whether these '4 sticks' had anything to do with that site, I am unsure.  They have stood there for a really long time.
