Midinner…

…Sorry to blip a meal (again) but it was a memorable one (in a good way).
The shiny bit in the middle (which does, in fairness, look a bit weird) was some kind of toffee/marscapone ice cream, and the cake bits were pistachio. It wasn’t mine, it was the choice of Himself, but mine was equally as artistic looking.

Aside from the lovely repast, we had an excellent time meeting up with old friends, one of whom was at college with Himself.
It was an excellent distraction (from an ongoing Situation). We rarely meet up as we live a fair distance apart.
As ever, we have resolved to ‘do this more often’.
Laughter is truly the best medicine.

I’ve also been on tinternet stalking art supplies. In particular alcohol (from an ink perspective). I was amused by some of the questions I’ve read on there (in the course of my research) which include the likes of, ‘is methylated spirit the same as vodka?’

How did we manage without technology??
